Required Documents for Applying for a Caste Certificate in Telangana via the Meeseva Portal

The below documents required to upload in the meeseva citizen portal to get the Telangana community and date of birth certificate.

  • SSC Marks Memo, Date of Birth (DOB) Extract, or Transfer Certificate
  • Community Certificate Issued to Family Members / Sangam Certificate
  • 1st to 10th Study Certificates or DOB Certificate Issued by Municipality / Gram Panchayat
  • Ration Card / Aadhaar Card / EPIC Card / Food Security Card
  • Aadhar Card for Current Address or Residential Address Proof
  • Documents Related to Immovable Properties
  • Applicant Photo (Only in JPG format)

How to Apply for Caste Certificate in Telangana

Using Telangana meeseva citizen services portal, we may able to apply community and date of birth certificate without visiting any meeseva center or MRO office. Simply you can sit at home and follow the below procedure to submit caste certificate using online mode.

Step 1: Before applying online, you must have a citizen account in meeseva portal, as it is required to apply the government applications.

Step 2: Login into Meeseva citizen portal

Step 3: Choose the “Revenue” option on the home screen. Refer to the screenshots mentioned below.

Step 4: Select the “Community and Date of Birth Certificate” option on the screen.

Step 5: Fill the below details to submit the application form

  • Fields for Application Number, Aadhaar Number, Applicant Name, Gender, Father/Husband Name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Age, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Delivery Type.
  • Fields for Door Number, Locality/Landmark, District, Mandal, Village/Ward, and Pin Code.
  • Two checkboxes for:
    • “Place of Ordinary Residence Address is same as Permanent Residence Address”
    • “Place of Birth Address is same as Permanent Residence Address”
  • Fields for Community Certificate Issued in the Past, Household Survey Number, Applicant Sub-tribe/Sub-group, Applicant Community Claimed, Community & Sub-tribe/Sub-group of the Father and Mother, and Religion Details.
  • A final question: “Whether the applicant is a Natural or Adopted Son/Daughter of their Parents.”

Step 6: Choose the delivery type: Manual or Postal.

  • Manual: You need to visit the nearest Meeseva center to collect the community certificate.
  • Postal: The certificate will be sent to the permanent address provided in the application form.

Step 7: Upload the required documents as mentioned above (refer the below screenshots for more information)

Step 8: Submit the Telangana caste certificate application form and You will be redirected to the payment page, where you can make the payment using TG Online services or T-Wallet. Pay the prescribed fee.

  • Xerox copies of your ration card
  • Previous caste certificate (self or family-related)
  • SSC memo scan
  • Passport-size photo
