The TS Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi was launched by the Telangana government to offer scholarship opportunities to students from SC and ST communities. This scholarship provides financial assistance to help students pursue their education in abroad. Eligible students can receive up to INR 20 lakhs, based on their admission letter, along with one-way economy airfare and Visa charges. Students with a family income of less than INR 5 lakhs are eligible for this scholarship.

  • The annual income of the family (including the student and parents) from all sources must be less than INR 5 lakhs
  • Scholarship Grant: Up to INR 20 lakhs or the amount mentioned in the admission letter, whichever is lower.
  • One-way economy ticket and Visa charges.
  • Only one child from a family is eligible.
  • A minimum of 60% in graduation and an eligible score in GRE/GMAT and an English proficiency test as per the government guidelines.

  • Study certificates 4th to 10th class (details only)
  • Study certificate of last studied course (Original Copy)
  • Transfer certificate of last studied course (Original copy)
  • Income cerificate (not greater than 6 months old)
  • Caste certificate
  • Bank passbook
  • Passport size photo
  • Aadhar card
  • Ration card (optional)
  • Epass id (previously applied scholarship if any)
  • Residence certificate
  • Gap certificate (if any)
  • Passport
  • Foreign university admission letter
  • Visa (if available on that date)
  • GMAT/GRE score card
  • IELTS/TOEFL qualification

  • Visit official portal to complete the registration process – https://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in/OverseasLinks.do
  • This application selection process completely based on the merit list only (60% graduation + 40% Qualified tests).

  • Fill the applicant details as shown in below image
  • Next fill the details of places & Address of school study from 4th to 10th as per certificates
  • Fill the academic and bank account details as shown in the below image
  • Passport, GRE/GMAT details, along with visa details (if avaliable already)
  • Details of Foreign Intitution in Which admission is obtained (as shown in below image)
