The Telangana government has released a notification about a self-employment scheme called Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme to support unemployed youth across the state. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced the ₹6,000 crore initiative, targeting self-employment opportunities and economic empowerment. So that it is aimed to benefiting nearly 5 lakh people in the state. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance of ₹3 lakhs rupees to backward-class youth to promote self-employment and improve their financial status.

Important Dates of Rajiv Yuva Vikasam 2025

  • Application Start Date: March 17
  • Application End Date: April 5
  • Selection and Verification: April 6 to May 31
  • 1st Beneficiary List: June 2 (Telangana Formation Day)

After the application process, the respective District Collectors will review the applications and release sanction letters on Telangana Formation Day.

This scheme is primarily implemented through BC, SC, ST, and Minority Welfare Corporations and will later be expanded to other categories across the state.

How To Sanction Amount For Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme

The government is launching financial aid for unemployed youth under three categories:

  • First Category – Applicants who applied for ₹1 lakh may be selected first.
  • Second Category – Up to ₹2 lakhs.
  • Third Category – Up to ₹3 lakhs.
  • The maximum unit cost depends on the sector and scheme you choose.

Telangana Rajiv Yuva Vikasam New Guidelines 2025

As per the guidelines, telangana governement is going to give the subsidy of loans , as mentioned below

  • If you take a ₹50,000 loan, you get a 100% subsidy.
  • For loans between ₹50,000 and ₹1 lakh, the subsidy is 90%.
  • For loans between ₹1 lakh and ₹2 lakhs, the subsidy is 80%.
  • For loans between ₹2 lakhs and ₹3 lakhs, the subsidy is 70%.
  • Regarding priority, the government has allocated 5% of the units to physically handicapped individuals and 25% to widowed or single women.

Who is not eligible for TG Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Pathakam?

  • People who have taken a corporation loan in the last five years are not eligible.
  • Only one person per family is eligible.
  • Education is mandatory for the applicant.
