Telangana DEECET stands for Diploma in Elementary Education Common Entrance Test – this is an admission test for candidates who want to pursue Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Diploma in Pre-School Education (D.P.S.E) after completing their intermediate education. This exam is conducted every year by the Telangana School Education Department.

TG DEECET Syllabas & Exam Format

The TG DEECET 2025 examination will be conducted online and will have a duration of 2 hours.

It consists of a single paper with 100 objective-type questions, carrying 1 mark each.

mportant Notes:

  • Exam Mode: TG DEECET 2025 will be conducted ONLINE on 25.05.2025 in multiple sessions.
  • Medium Selection:
    • If a candidate opts for English Medium, the Part II (b) section will be in either Telugu or Urdu (as per candidate’s choice in the application).
    • The question paper medium will be the same as the D.El.Ed. or D.P.S.E. course medium selected.
  • Eligibility for D.P.S.E. Course: Only English Medium students are eligible.
  • Standard of Questions: The Part III syllabus follows the Class X level.
  • Ranking Criteria: Candidates who meet the qualifying marks (5% cutoff) will get ranks based on merit.
  • Revaluation/Re-totaling: Not entertained for online exams.
