This exam is necessary for admission into various professional courses, including Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy, offered in government universities, government colleges, and private colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2025-2026.
It will be conducted as a Common Entrance Test in a computer-based format.

What Is Telangana EAPCET
TG EAPCET is an entrance exam conducted by the Telangana state across the state for students who want to pursue higher degrees like B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, Agriculture, etc., to get admission into universities, government colleges, and private colleges.
It is conducted every year by the Telangana Council of Higher Education.

Telangana EAPCET 2025 Notification Details
Application Dates: February 25, 2025, to April 12, 2025, without a late fee. Various late fee payment options are available. For detailed information, refer to the official notification.
Exam Dates:
- Agriculture & Pharmacy: April 29, 2025, to April 30, 2025
- Engineering: May 2, 2025, to May 5, 2025

- ₹900 for the General category
- ₹500 for SC/ST and PH
Candidates applying for both Engineering and Pharmacy:
- ₹1,000 for SC/ST/PH
- ₹1,800 for others

How To Apply For Telangana EAPCET 2025 Online
- Step 1 – Visit the official website of TG EAPCET.
- Step 2 – Pay the registration fee as mentioned below.
- Step 3 – Fill out the online application form with accurate details and submit it.

Eligibility Criteria to appear for TG EAPCET 2025
Candidates meeting the following requirements are eligible to appear for TG EAPCET-2025:
a) Candidates must be of Indian nationality or hold a Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card.
b) Candidates must belong to the state of Telangana and satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as per the Telangana Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974, and its subsequent amendments.
c) For admission into B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering, Biotechnology, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering), and 50% of seats in B.Pharmacy and B.Tech. (Food Technology), candidates must meet the specified eligibility criteria.
For Intermediate (10+2) Candidates:
- Must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with:
- Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optional subjects
- OR related vocational courses in Engineering and Technology
- The examination must be conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or an equivalent recognized board.
- Candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and later batches must have completed the required bridge course(s) if applicable.
- Candidates with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optionals, along with the bridge course in Mathematics, are also eligible for the Biotechnology course.
For Diploma Candidates:
- Must have passed or appeared for the final year of the Diploma Examination in Engineering, conducted by:
- State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana
- OR any other equivalent recognized examination
Candidates must have at least 45% marks in the specified subjects (MPC / BiPC) taken together in the 10+2 pattern. For reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement is 40% marks.
