Eligibility Criteria For TG Ed.CET Exam
Candidates must appear for the Telangana Education Common Entrance Test through Computer Based Test-2025 , conducted by the CONVENER, TG Ed.CET-2025, Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE).
Nationality: The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates completed Bachelors degree (B.A, B.com, B.Sc, B.sc home science, BCA, BBM, B.A Oriental Languages, BBA) OR Master’s degree with least 50$ aggregate marks
- BTECH with 50 % marks
- For SC/ST/BC – need only 40% marks required
- Candidates must show the original educational certificates for the admission counselling procedure.
- Candidates only master degree without graduation , those are not eligibele
- MBBS/BSC(AG)/BVSC/BHMT/B.Pharmcy and professional degrees like LLB are not eligble to write
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 19 years as of July 1, 2025
- Maximum: No upper age limit
Local and Non-Local Category:
- 85% of seats reserved for local candidates of OU area
- 15% unreserved seats available for:
- Local candidates of OU area
- Candidates with 10 years residence in the State
- Children of State/Central Government employees
- Spouses of State/Central Government employees
Qualifying Marks in Entrance Test:
- General candidates: Minimum 25% of aggregate marks (38 marks)
- SC/ST candidates: No minimum qualifying marks for ranking
- SC/ST candidates seeking seats under special quotas (NCC/Sports/PH/Armed Personnel): Minimum 25% marks (38 marks)
